华硕官方暗示 ZenFone 8 将採用 120Hz 更新率挖孔萤幕并推出 4 款 ZenFone 8 系列机型
在 ROG Phone 5 系列推出后，将在台湾时间 5 月 13 日凌晨 1 点举行的 ZenFone 8 系列全球线上发表会，也将带来不只一款 ZenFone 8 新机。除了最早邀请函就透露这次 ZenFone 8 系列将有之前外传的 5.9 吋萤幕的小尺寸版本性能旗舰手机，现在关于 ZenFone 8 系列再有了更多重大的新消息!
日前，华硕在官方 Twitter 上传一段 ZenFone 8 系列的预告的推文提到「It’s all about the eights! How many eights can fit in your phone?」询问网友能在手机看到几个「8」?
当时除了画面总共有 8 个圆圈组成的 4 个「8」，其实也悄悄暗示了这次 ZenFone 8 系列可能取消翻转镜头和无挖孔的全萤幕，改为目前市场上主流的「挖孔萤幕」。这 4 个 8 或许也正暗示着 ZenFone 8 系列共计将有 4 款机型，而非日前外传的 3 款。
若按照过去的传闻， ZenFone 8 系列可能将有 ZenFone 8 mini 、 ZenFone 8 、 ZenFone 8 Pro 以及 ZenFone 8 Flip 共 4 款新机。
其实 ZenFone 8 Flip 并非近期才曝光，在三月时 sumahoinfo 就曾报导过有网友发现在 Google Developer 网站于 ARCore 相容设备页面上，看到华硕有款手机型号名为 Zenfone 8 Flip 。
回顾过去华硕也在旗下 ZenBook 的 Flip 系列笔电採用翻转萤幕设计，因此目前还无法确定 ZenFone 8 Flip 的「Flip」是指延续 ZenFone 6 、ZenFone 7/7 Pro 的翻转镜头或摺叠手机。
至于之前也曾传闻 ZenFone 8 系列将支持最高 120Hz 萤幕更新率，也在稍早另一则华硕发表的 Twitter 推文进行第二波暗示被证实。华硕在 Twitter 提到「Is it just us or are there a lot of ‘o’s in ‘smooth’? How many, exactly?
